MBI’s Massachusetts Veterans’ Portal

Summary:
The Massachusetts Broadband Institute (“MBI”), a non-divisible component of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, is issuing this request for proposals (No. 2012-MBI-01) (“RFP”) to select a website developer for the MBI’s Massachusetts Veterans’ Portal (the "Portal") project. The MBI has received a supplemental grant from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration under the State Broadband Initiative (formerly the State Broadband Data and Development Program) (Grant No. 25-50-M09017, CDFA No. 11.558) to develop and implement the Massachusetts Veterans and Family Portal on the internet to help connect veterans and their families to the benefits they need and deserve. The MBI has embarked on this project in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Veterans Service and the Home Base Program, a partnership between the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital. The purpose of this RFP is to procure services for the complete development of the Portal.
